  If you read the 5 Lessons by Ben Hogan, then listening to the in depth analysis of the full swing by Jim Mclean is going to help you develop a further understanding. He covers the grip, stance, swing path, preshot routine, release and waggle. He contrasts what is written in the book versus what Hogan actually did (likely from his near fatal car accident). Historic footage of Ben Hogan's swing and vignettes by his contemporaries in the video give a perspective into the legendary golfer. McLean includes drills that Ben Hogan illustrated in the 5 Lessons. This video is not purely instructional and is useful as a supplement to the book. Always Practice Safe! Make sure you have plenty of room to swing!

• Place thumbs on "birdie" located on grip of club and twine fingers around the grip.
• Assume stance with feet approximately shoulder width apart and slightly bend from the waist in a good balanced position. Alignment arrow on the face of the club should be pointing straight ahead.
• Begin backward movement of the club so that at waist high, arrow is pointing towards the sky.
• At the top of the backswing, the arrow should be pointing towards the intended target.
• Begin swinging the club towards the target. When club reaches waist high on the follow through, the arrow should be pointing towards the sky.
• Now allow "Birdie" to come all the way around to complete the follow through. Allow knee to point towards target in a complete balanced position.

Don Wade and his book publisher should have noted the Masters ISN'T played on the first Sunday in April. In fact, all Masters played since 1997(I didn't go back further) has ended on the 2nd Sunday in April. Golf writers seldom can be bothered to do the most elementary of research. Look at Johnny Miller's book 'I call the shots' for a perfect example. We learn there Ed Fiori beat Tiger Woods in a playoff. It never happened!
